To power on the 316T, push and quickly release the Power Button. The display will come on in a few seconds. To put the tablet in Standby mode, push and quickly release the Power Button. To turn off the tablet for extended storage, use any software function that "shuts down computer" provided in the software operating system.
Note: It is recommended to use the Power Button to put the tablet in "Standby" mode while not in use to conserve power. Avoid using the Power Button to turn off the tablet, as this form of hardware shutdown is intended for recovery from lockups and not normal operation.
