To install the PHILIPS BY120P Coreline LED High Bay, it is recommended to hire a qualified electrician and follow the latest IEE electrical regulations or national requirements. Before installation, make sure to turn off the power. External earthing is required before using the luminaire and throughout its lifespan. The luminaire must be used within the applicable product specifications, installation instructions, and environmental conditions for storage and operations. Avoid using the luminaire in corrosive atmospheres or with hazardous materials. The manufacturer will not take responsibility for improper use or self-modifications of the product. If the external flexible cable or cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified person to avoid hazards. The luminaire is suitable for indoor use only and not recommended for cold storage areas with temperature gradients. The installer needs to arrange a chain or pipe for mounting, and the default product is supplied with a mounting hook. The height between the luminous surface and the ground should be more than 5m, and the height between the bottom of the luminaire and the mounting surface must be more than 0.3m. Similar installation or application like flood and tunnel luminaires are not allowed. The luminaire is not suitable for use in harsh vibration or swinging environments, as well as areas prone to hurricanes and extreme winds. If a customer requires a levelness of the luminous surface less than 1°, the pipe mounting method is recommended. Periodic cleaning of the luminaire optical lens cover with a dry soft cloth is necessary for maximum optical efficiency. The light source and control gear contained in the luminaire should only be replaced by the manufacturer or a qualified person.
