To install the VENTURE LIGHTING AK0017 LED Wall Pack Fixture, follow these steps:
1. Disconnect power from the luminaire and follow proper lockout/tagout procedures before beginning installation or maintenance.
2. Remove the existing luminaire (if present) and dispose of it according to local requirements.
3. Loosen the screws on the side of the fixture to gain access to the driver compartment.
4. Open the fixture and disconnect the quick disconnect which connects the LED driver to the LED module.
5. Drill mounting installation holes needed for the installation into the back of the fixture.
6. Attach the supplied gasket to the back of the fixture.
7. Loosen the plug on the back of the fixture, route the wiring through the hole, and mount the back of the fixture to the junction box.
8. Connect the supply wires to the fixture input wiring as shown in the wiring diagram provided.
- Note: The correct polarity of the dimming connections is essential to proper operation. If dimming is required, remove the pink and purple wires from the wattage selector switch and wire them to external dimming leads. Do not connect the Driver Dim(+) (purple) to the Driver Dim(-) (pink) wire as the fixture will not operate correctly. Insulate the 12V+ (Red) wire if not used. Use the selector switch to choose the CCT setting (3000K/4000K/5000K).
9. Use the rotary switch to choose the wattage setting.
10. If the photocell is not needed, disconnect the connector from the photocell on the right side knockout (pink and black wires).
11. Connect the quick connect terminals that were removed in Step 4.
12. Close the fixture and secure it by tightening the screws on the side of the fixture.
- Note: Ensure the rubber gasket is properly placed to prevent water from entering the fixture.
13. Power can now be restored to the system.
