To calibrate the PCE-BSK Instruments Counting Scale, you can follow the steps provided in the user manual. There are two types of calibration mentioned: one-point calibration and three-point calibration.
For one-point calibration:
1. In weighing mode, press the CAL key for approximately 4 seconds until "I.CAL Ig" is displayed.
2. Press the >0< key to display a weight value for calibration.
3. Press the >0< key to apply the weight value or press the counting key and CAL key to make changes, then confirm with >0<.
4. Apply the weight that is displayed on the screen. A line will appear, followed by the non-flashing weight.
5. Remove the weight, and a line will be displayed, followed by "0.00 g". The calibration is now completed.
For three-point calibration:
1. In weighing mode, press the CAL key for approximately 4 seconds until "I.CAL Ig" is displayed.
2. Press the counting key to select "2.CAL 3".
3. Press the >0< key to display a weight value for calibration.
4. Apply the weight that is displayed on the screen. A line will appear, followed by the non-flashing weight.
5. Remove the first weight.
6. Apply the next weight that flashes on the screen. A line will appear, followed by the non-flashing weight.
7. Remove the second weight.
8. Apply the next weight that flashes on the screen. A line will appear, followed by the non-flashing weight.
9. Remove the third weight, and a line will be displayed, followed by "0.00 g". The calibration is now completed.
Please note that the balance must have been exposed to stable environmental conditions for at least 30 minutes before calibration. It is also recommended to read the user manual thoroughly for more detailed instructions and safety precautions.
