To set the time on the renkforce 1344640 Radio Wall Clock with LC Display, you have two options: automatic DCF reception or manual time setting.
1. Automatic DCF Reception:
- Insert two new AA/Mignon batteries into the battery compartment at the back of the clock, ensuring correct polarity.
- The clock will attempt to receive the DCF signal and set the time automatically. This process may take three to twelve minutes.
- During this time, do not move the clock or press any buttons.
- If the DCF signal is successfully received, the clock hands will move to the current time and the date will be displayed on the LC display.
- The DCF symbol will appear permanently in the display when the signal is received.
2. Manual Time Setting:
- If the clock is operated outside the DCF reception range or if reception is disturbed, you can set the time manually.
- Press and hold the TIME SET button for about three seconds until the year indicator on the LC display flashes.
- Use the REC button to adjust the year, then press the TIME SET button briefly to confirm.
- Set the month, date, hour, and minute in the same way, confirming each input with a brief press of the TIME SET button.
- To set the display language for the day of the week indicator, press the REC button and choose from the available options (GER, NED, FRE, DAN, ITA, ENG, ESP).
- Press the TIME SET button briefly to confirm the language selection.
- You can press and hold the REC button during the setting process to change values more quickly.
- The clock will return to the previous display if no buttons are pressed for 30 seconds.
