To install the Danfoss AB-QM Pressure Independent Balancing Control Valves, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the system is depressurized and that the flow is shut off before installation.
2. Select the appropriate valve size based on the flow rate requirements of your system.
3. Mount the valve on the pipe using the provided brackets or clamps. Make sure the valve is oriented correctly with the flow direction indicated on the valve body.
4. Connect the valve to the pipe using the appropriate fittings. Ensure that the connections are tight and leak-free.
5. Insulate the valve and the surrounding pipes to prevent heat loss or gain.
6. Connect the control signal wires to the valve according to the wiring diagram provided in the instruction manual.
7. Set the desired flow rate by adjusting the flow setting on the valve. Refer to the sizing table in the manual to determine the appropriate flow setting for your system.
8. Once the valve is installed and set, turn on the system and check for any leaks or abnormal operation.
9. Regularly clean the filter on the valve to ensure proper functioning. Refer to the instruction manual for instructions on how to clean the filter.
