To connect your NIGHTWATCH NW-1000 device to a WiFi network, follow these steps:
1. Temporarily place the device in broadcast mode:
- Make sure the device is turned off.
- Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds until you see a blue LED flashing.
- Proceed to the next step when the blue LED is flashing.
2. Connect the device to a nearby smartphone or computer:
- Open the WiFi settings on your smartphone or computer.
- Select your device from the list of available WiFi networks using its serial number.
- Enter "nightwatch" as the password when prompted.
- Confirm that your smartphone or computer is successfully connected to the device.
3. Connect the device to a WiFi network via your smartphone or computer:
- Open a web browser and enter "connect.smarthalter.com" or "192.168.44.1" to access the WiFi menu.
- Select "Setup WiFi" and choose a WiFi network.
- Enter the password for the selected WiFi network when prompted.
- Confirm that the device is successfully connected to the WiFi network.
4. Restart the device:
- Power off the device and then power it back on to exit broadcast mode.
