To select a cycle and adjust settings on the Maytag YMED5630MBK 27 Inch Dryer, follow these steps:
1. Clean Lint Screen: Before starting a new cycle, make sure to clean the lint screen located inside the dryer drum.
2. Load Clothes: Load your laundry into the dryer drum.
3. Turn Power On: Press the POWER/CANCEL button to turn the dryer on.
4. Close Door; then Select Cycle and Settings: Close the dryer door and use the CYCLE CONTROL xxxx to select the desired cycle for your laundry load. The available cycles are listed in the online "Cycle Guide." You can also press the CYCLE CONTROL xxxx to activate the Extra Power option for harder-to-dry loads. Adjust the temperature and dryness level settings based on the type of load you are drying. Refer to the online "Cycle Guide" for details on temperature and dryness settings.
5. Press START/PAUSE: Touch and hold the START/PAUSE button until the LED display counts down "3-2-1" and the dryer starts. If a cycle is already in process, you can touch the START/PAUSE button once to pause it.
Note: The LED display will show the estimated time remaining for Sensor Cycles or the actual time remaining for Timed Cycles.
