To clean the Russell Hobbs 25290-56 Compact Home Jug Blender, follow these steps:
1. Switch off the appliance and unplug it from the power source.
2. Wipe the outside of the motor unit with a clean damp cloth.
3. Hand wash the removable parts, including the jug, lid, cap, seal, and blade unit.
- You may wash these parts in warm soapy water.
- Alternatively, you can wash these parts in the top rack of a dishwasher.
- If using a dishwasher, be aware that the harsh environment inside the dishwasher may affect the surface finishes of the parts. However, this should not affect the operation of the appliance.
4. For thorough cleaning, you may wish to remove the blade unit:
- Remove the lid from the jug.
- Turn the jug upside down.
- Unscrew the blade unit and lift it off.
- Handle only the plastic parts and avoid touching the metal parts.
- Wash the seal and blade unit in warm soapy water, rinse, and air dry.
- Replace the seal around the blade unit.
- xxxx the blade unit firmly back onto the bottom of the jug.
5. Once all the parts are clean and dry, reassemble the blender for future use.
