Cleaning the DeLonghi CGH1030D Contact Grill is a simple process. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Ensure that the grill is unplugged and has cooled down completely before cleaning.
2. Remove the drip tray and scrape off any excess food particles or grease.
3. Wash the drip tray in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry before placing it back into the grill.
4. Use a damp cloth or sponge to wipe the exterior of the grill. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may damage the surface.
5. For the grill plates, allow them to cool down completely. Once cool, remove them from the grill by pressing the release buttons on the sides.
