To clean the KENWOOD TYPE HDP30 Food Processor, follow these steps:
1. Always switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
2. Wipe the power handle, whisk collar, chopper cover, masher collar, and shaft with a slightly damp cloth, then dry. Do not immerse them in water or use abrasives. They are not dishwasher safe.
3. For the hand blender shaft or soup blender, part-fill the beaker or a similar container with warm soapy water. Plug the appliance into the power supply, then insert the hand blender shaft or soup blender and switch it on. Unplug and dry afterwards. Alternatively, you can wash the blades under running water and dry them thoroughly. Do not immerse the shaft in water or allow liquid inside it.
4. Wash the whisk, beaker, chopper bowl, chopper blade, masher paddle and screens, rubber ring bases, and beaker/bowl lids by hand and dry them. They are not dishwasher safe.
5. Refer to the manual for a table that shows which items are dishwasher safe. Only the items listed as suitable for dishwashing can be washed in the dishwasher.
6. If the masher attachment has dried food on it, remove the paddle and soak the paddle and bottom of the masher shaft in warm water to soften the food. Wash them thoroughly. Do not immerse the masher shaft in water or allow liquid inside it. If water gets inside, drain and allow it to dry before use.
7. Do not allow the masher collar to get wet.
8. Do not dishwash any of the parts that are not listed as suitable for dishwashing.
Please refer to the manual for more detailed instructions and safety precautions.
