To mount and connect the LANCOM LX-6200E WiFi-6 Access Point, please follow these steps:
1. Reset button: The reset button can be used for two purposes:
- Press and hold the reset button for up to 5 seconds to restart the device.
- Press and hold the reset button until all LEDs start flashing to perform a configuration reset and restart the device.
2. Power supply socket: Connect the supplied power adapter to the power supply socket on the device. After connecting the cable, turn the connector 90° clockwise to prevent accidental unplugging. It is important to use only the supplied power adapter.
3. Ethernet interface: Use an Ethernet cable to connect the ETH1 (PoE) interface on the device to your PC or a LAN switch. The cable should have Ethernet connectors on both ends.
4. USB interface: If you have compatible USB devices, you can connect them directly to the USB interface on the device using a suitable USB cable.
Before starting the device for the first time, please refer to the information provided in the enclosed installation guide for the intended use.
When setting up the device, please observe the following:
- Ensure that the power plug of the device is freely accessible.
- If you plan to place the device on a desktop, attach the adhesive rubber footpads.
- Do not place any objects on top of the device.
- Keep all ventilation slots on the side of the device clear of obstruction.
- If you want to mount the device on a wall or ceiling, you can use the LANCOM Wall Mount (LN) accessory, which is available separately. Please note that support service for third-party accessories is excluded.
