To activate the Key Lock function on the KitchenAid Induction Hob, press the "Key lock" button for 3 seconds. You will hear a beep and see a warning light indicating that the function has been activated. The control panel will be locked, except for the off button. To reactivate the controls, press the "Key Lock" button again for 3 seconds. The warning light will switch off and the hob will be active again. This function is useful to prevent accidental activation of the hob during cleaning or to prevent accidental changes to the controls while cooking.
