To install the STERLING 5325EZ-59 Silver with Smooth Clear Glass Pattern shower door, please follow the installation guide provided with the product. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Before starting the installation, ensure that the vertical opening is a minimum of 57-3/4" (1467 mm) to allow for installation clearance.
2. Begin by assembling the hardware kit provided. Use the hex wrench included to tighten all the necessary screws and bolts.
3. Place the door panel into the desired position. The door panel is frameless and made of 1/4" (6 mm) thick tempered glass.
4. Adjust the door panel to ensure it is level and plumb. The quick install system allows for out-of-plumb adjustability, simplifying the installation process.
5. Once the door panel is in the correct position, secure it in place using the provided hardware. Make sure all screws and bolts are tightened securely.
6. Attach the interior and exterior towel bars to complete the look of the door. These towel bars are included with the product.
7. The tempered glass of the door ensures enhanced safety and durability.
8. The glass is coated with CleanCoat®+ glass coating, which creates a hydrophobic barrier that repels water, soap scum, and residue. This coating saves time and protects the shower doors 10 times longer than the original CleanCoat. It is recommended to clean the glass regularly using a microfiber cloth.
9. The anodized aluminum material used in the shower door prevents rust and corrosion.
10. Please note that this shower door is designed for residential use only and is not intended for use in hospitality settings.
11. The product complies with ANSI Z97.1 and CPSC 16CFR 1201 standards for safety.
