To install the Akuvox IT88X Indoor Monitor, please follow these steps:
Step 1: Flush-mounting Box Installation
- Mark the location where the box will be installed on the wall.
- Cut out a rectangular hole (height*width*depth=166*241*40mm) in the wall.
- Fit the flush-mounting box into the hole and run cables through it.
- Fill the gap between the wall and flush-mounting box with cement or non-corrosive structural adhesive. Allow the adhesive to dry.
Step 2: Flush-mounting Bracket Installation
- Ensure that the cables go through the hole of the flush-mounting bracket.
- Fasten the bracket to the box using four M4x20 crosshead screws.
Step 3: Device Installation
- Connect the cables to the corresponding ports on the back of the IT88X (refer to the Device Wiring section in the manual).
- Rotate the device at a 15° angle and align the two upper holes on the back cover with the hooks of the bracket.
- Press the device into the bracket until it is securely clipped on.
- Use an Allen wrench to tighten the M3x6 headless xxxx at the bottom of the device.
Device Wiring:
- Ensure proper wiring of the device according to the instructions in the manual.
