To assemble the PROAIM P-WV-2SD 7 Feet Wave 2 Jib Crane Dolly Stand, follow these steps:
1. Position the height of the tripod by loosening all three adjustment knobs, sliding the tripod up to the desired height, and re-tighten the knobs securely.
2. There are two ways to use the Wave jib: as a spreader or as a dolly.
- For the spreader option, take out the spreader, spread it on the floor, and open the legs of the spreader as per your requirement using the provided xxxx . Mount the tripod stand on the spreader and lock it in place with the rubber grips.
- For the dolly option, take out the bolt from the center of the dolly, spread it on the floor, and put the bolt back through the center of the dolly. Mount the tripod stand on the dolly and lock it in place with the rubber grips. To keep the dolly in a static position, lock the wheels by pushing down the lever.
3. To attach the lower telescopic jib section, loosen the bolts of the hub section and move the hub section from their position for proper attaching. Then, tighten the bolts to secure it.
4. Loosen the xxxx for the free tilt movement of the camera plate. Attach the lower section of the jib by aligning it with the hub section and tighten the attaching knobs for double security.
5. Unscrew the locking lever from the Central Post of the jib. Place the Central Post in the bowl of the Tripod Stand and re-tighten the locking mechanism for a secure fit. Make sure the Central Fork is seated properly in the bowl, perpendicular to the tripod bowl.
6. Use the provided jib panning control knobs to loosen them for smooth pan movement of the jib and tighten them to lock the pan movement.
7. Unscrew the Allen bolts to extend the jib arm at the back and retighten the Allen bolts to secure all the connections.
8. Insert the weight rod into the jib arm and slide in weights as per your requirement. xxxx -in the weight closer properly. Note that the counterweight is not included.
9. Mount your fluid head onto the bowl plate to attach the camera. Secure the camera properly on the fluid head.
10. If you want to use a 100mm fluid head setup, loosen the bolts and remove the 100mm bowl. Attach the flat base plate and secure it by tightening the bolts. Then, attach the Pan Tilt Head and secure it by tightening the bolts.
11. For an over slung setup, attach the flat base plate on the top and mount the camera setup, securing the camera properly.
12. For a 100mm fluid head setup, attach the 100mm bowl on the top, mount the camera setup, and secure it properly.
