No, the PITSCO EDUCATION 37764 Balsa Truss Tester is specifically designed to test trusses made with 1/8" balsa wood only. Trusses made of basswood or other materials should not be used with this tester. Additionally, the trusses must not exceed 4 inches in height and 12 inches in width. Trusses with flat tops or tops angled at 15º, 20º, 25º, or 30º will fit into the tester. It is important to follow these guidelines to ensure proper usage and accurate testing results.
