To install the EPEVER LS1024EPD Solar Charge Controller, follow these steps:
1. Choose a suitable location: Do not install the controller in humid, salt spray, corrosion, greasy, flammable, explosive, dust accumulative, or other severe environments.
2. Mount the controller: Use the mounting hole (Φ5) on the aluminum housing to securely mount the controller.
3. Connect components: Connect the components to the charge controller in the sequence "① Battery > ② Load > ③ PV." Pay attention to the polarity, ensuring the correct connection of positive (+) and negative (-) terminals. Always power the battery first.
4. Check battery indicator: After powering the battery, check whether the battery indicator is green. If it's not green, refer to chapter 4 of the user manual for troubleshooting.
5. Install a fast-acting fuse: Install a fast-acting fuse as close to the battery as possible. The suggested distance is within 150mm.
