To install the HOWARD LIGHTING PRODUCTS LEDMEDR2-CSWS27-MV LED Retrofit Lamps, please follow the instructions provided in the manual. Here is a step-by-step guide:
1. Disconnect the electrical circuit and ensure it is safely locked out before attempting the retrofit. Test and make sure the power supply is OFF.
2. Remove the existing ballast, capacitor, starter, and lamp. Disconnect the ballast from the existing lamp holder. Remove and recycle the lamp and ballast components according to local and national codes.
3. Break connections as shown in Figure 1 of the manual.
4. Connect the supply line and neutral directly to the existing lamp holder, as shown in Figure 2.
5. Install the new LED Retrofit Lamp as shown in Figure 3. Make sure the luminaire is properly grounded.
It is important to note that this lamp must be installed by a qualified electrician. Do not make any alterations to the lamp or add/remove any components. Also, ensure that the lamp is not connected to a ballast and is wired directly to the line voltage.
