To install the PHILIPS LL217X BV CoreLine Trunking Gen2 Leaner Light, follow these steps:
1. Before installation, ensure that water does not enter the luminaire during installation or use.
2. Determine the type of luminaire you have based on the wattage and power supply. Refer to the table provided in the manual to identify the appropriate type.
3. Check the inrush current and Tref values for your specific luminaire type. These values are important for selecting the appropriate circuit breaker or MCB (Miniature Circuit Breaker) for your installation. Refer to the table provided in the manual to find the recommended MCB rating for your luminaire.
4. Choose the appropriate cable size based on the MCB rating and the thickness of the cable. The values provided in the manual are for both 1.5 mm² and 2.5 mm² cables. Ensure that the cable size meets the requirements for your installation.
5. During installation and maintenance, avoid touching the electronic components of the luminaire as they are under high voltage and sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Use static-free gloves to avoid leaving marks on the luminaire.
6. To clean the luminaire, use a microfiber cloth for dust and a cleaner for synthetic materials with antistatic properties for fingerprints and other spots. Do not stare directly into the LED light beam.
7. Remove the protective foil from the optical parts of the luminaire after installation to prevent scratches and dirt accumulation.
8. The luminaire should be installed by a qualified electrician and wired according to the latest IEE electrical regulations or national requirements.
9. Note that the light source of this luminaire is not replaceable. When the light source reaches its end of life, the entire luminaire should be replaced.
10. The driver insulation of the luminaire is basic according to IEC 61847-1. Disconnect the luminaire before servicing as it has basic insulation between the low voltage supply and control conductors.
