To connect the ZAPCO Z-PS SERIES 110V AC to DC Power Converter to your amplifier, follow these steps:
1. Make sure that the device requiring power is turned off.
2. Assure that the power supply switch is turned off.
3. Set the output voltage selector on the power supply to the required voltage (usually 13.5 volts for most car electronics).
4. Connect the positive and negative power cables from the device to the power supply. Make sure to double-check the polarity to avoid damaging both the power supply and the device being powered. The connected device should be fused as per the manufacturer's recommendation.
5. Connect the included volt meter, if you will be using it, to the Volt Meter port on the power supply's control end plate.
6. After double-checking all connections, plug the A/C cord into a correct standard 110V or 220V power receptacle, depending on the power supply model.
7. Flip the power switch to the ON position. The blue LED will light up to indicate that the power supply is powered on.
