The installation process for the SwitchBot Curtain R 2 varies depending on the type of curtain you have. Here are the installation steps for different types of curtains:
1. Ring Top Curtains:
- Close your curtain and remove the first hook from it.
- Pull the detached hook and attach it between the first and second ring onto your curtain rod.
- Put the main body (attached with the other hook) onto the rod, pull down the hook and install it on the main body. You will hear a click when it is firmly installed.
- Finish by adjusting the position of the SwitchBot Curtain to keep it perpendicular to the ground, making sure the logo faces indoor. Put the SwitchBot Curtain behind your curtain.
2. Grommet Curtains:
- Install the SwitchBot Curtain at the back of your curtain.
- Pull the detached hook and attach it between the first and second grommet.
- Put the main body (attached with the other hook) onto the rod, pull down the hook and install it on the main body. You will hear a click when it is firmly installed.
- Adjust the position of the SwitchBot Curtain to keep it perpendicular to the ground, making sure the logo faces indoor.
- Install the beads fixer at the top of the grommet (with beads installed in it), making sure to clip it on the grommet firmly. Finish by cutting the remaining beads or putting them behind your curtain.
3. Tab Top Curtains:
- Install the clips provided according to the instructions before installing the SwitchBot Curtain.
- Close your curtain and attach a clip on the first tab.
- Attach the remaining clips on other tabs, making sure they are sitting on the top of the rod and aligned with each other.
- Install the SwitchBot Curtain at the back of your curtain.
- Pull the detached hook and attach it between the first and second tab onto your curtain rod.
- Put the main body (attached with the other hook) onto the rod, pull down the hook and install it on the main body. You will hear a click when it is firmly installed.
- Finish by adjusting the position of the SwitchBot Curtain to keep it perpendicular to the ground, making sure the logo faces indoor.
4. Back Tab Curtains:
- Install the clips provided according to the instructions before installing the SwitchBot Curtain.
- Close your curtain and attach a clip on the first tab.
- Attach the remaining clips on other tabs, making sure they are sitting on the top of the rod and aligned with each other.
- Install the SwitchBot Curtain at the back of your curtain.
- Pull the detached hook and attach it between the first and second tab onto your curtain rod.
- Put the main body (attached with the other hook) onto the rod, pull down the hook and install it on the main body. You will hear a click when it is firmly installed.
- Finish by adjusting the position of the SwitchBot Curtain to keep it perpendicular to the ground, making sure the logo faces indoor.
