To clean the ELBA ESI-N1852 PP, BL Steam Iron, follow these steps:
1. Before cleaning, ensure that the iron is unplugged and has cooled down.
2. Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the iron.
3. For the self-cleaning function, fill the reservoir up to the maximum level indicated and set the steam/dry dial to "0FF".
4. Set the temperature control dial to the maximum temperature and wait for the indicator light to turn off.
5. Pull the plug out of the socket and hold the iron horizontally over the sink.
6. Hold the self-cleaning button setting until all the boiling water, steam, and impurities come out.
7. Once the soleplate has cooled down, you can clean it with a damp cloth.
It is recommended to perform the self-cleaning function every 10-15 days to remove impurities and maintain the performance of the iron.
