Installation Instructions for Ancerre DESIGNS LEDM-OTTO-30-B LED Bathroom Mirror:
1. Before starting the installation, make sure to turn off the electrical power to the bathroom. Use a voltage detector to verify that the power is off. Also, ensure that the circuit breaker is turned off and lock it to prevent anyone from turning it on.
2. It is recommended to hire a professional electrician if you are not experienced in installing electrical wiring. Your safety is more important than saving a few dollars.
3. When working with electricity, avoid water at all times. Never touch or install any electrical equipment or circuits with wet hands.
4. Tools you will need for installation: voltage tester, wire cutters, wire and cable strippers, needle nose pliers, continuity tester, and wire disclosure. Also, wear safety glasses and protective clothing to protect yourself from sparks.
Installation Steps:
Step 1: Check the wall to ensure it is a bearing wall that can support the weight of the mirror. Measure the width and height of the mirror's back holes/hooks distance using a tape measure.
Step 2: Mark the punching position on the wall with a pencil. Use a level gauge to ensure that the holes are at the same level.
Step 3: Use an impact drill to punch holes in the marked center using a 6-8mm drill bit. The drilling depth should be about SCM. Then, use a hammer to drive the expansion screws into the drilled holes.
Step 4: Use a screwdriver to xxxx the screws into the expansion screws and tighten them. Leave a distance of about 5mm from the wall.
Step 5: Hang the mirror up using the screws.
