To connect the EMDC-64M Converter to your lighting system, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the EMDC-64M Converter is powered by the mains voltage of 230V AC.
2. Connect the DALI BUS to the terminals provided on the EMDC-64M Converter. These terminals are equipped with short circuit and surge protection.
3. If this is the last unit on the EBM BUS system, terminate the wire with a resistor with a nominal resistance of 120 Ω. The resistor is located inside the unit, and termination is done by shorting neighboring terminals TERM and EBM+.
4. Connect the DMX BUS to the EMDC-64M Converter. The DMX BUS must be terminated at its end by a resistor with a nominal resistive value of 120 Ω. The resistor for DMX BUS termination is located inside the unit, and termination is performed by shorting adjacent terminals TERM and A.
