To install the MONACOR EDL-155 Weatherproof PA Ceiling Speakers, please follow these steps:
1. Saw the mounting cutout for the speaker into the ceiling, following the diameter specified in the figure provided in the manual.
2. Make the electrical connection. It is important to note that installation must be carried out by skilled personnel only due to the hazard of contact with a voltage up to 100 V at the connection cable. Prior to connection, completely switch off the PA system. Connect the terminal COM and the terminal marked with the desired power rating to the 100 V output of the amplifier. If you are connecting several speakers, ensure that all speakers have the same polarity (e.g., COM terminal = negative pole).
3. Fold the four clamps upwards.
4. Insert the speaker into the ceiling cutout by exerting a slight pressure until the clamps are folded down and the speaker is clamped on the ceiling.
