To install the HOWARD 2x2-36W-K-120 Led Back-lit Flat Panel Light, follow these steps:
1. Unbox the product and perform steps 1 to 5 on the ground. Skip Step 2 to Step 4 if the product is supplied with the panel light pre-installed.
2. Disassemble the support frame from the housing frame.
3. Disassemble one end of the housing frame by removing the 4 screws (the end next to the wiring box).
4. Slide the flat panel fixture into the frame and make wiring connections as per the Wiring section of the installation instructions.
5. Reassemble the end by using the 4 screws removed in Step 2.
6. Assemble the 4 earthquake-proof hooks using the screws provided in the hardware kit bag.
7. Rotate the support frame 45° and slide it through the ceiling grid.
8. Secure the 4 short safety wires to the support frame, allowing them to hang down in the frame opening when the frame is installed in the ceiling.
9. Attach the 4 adjustable hanger wires to the support frame with the clip ends. Attach the hanger wires to the building structure that supports the T-Grid ceiling.
10. Raise up the main housing and use the clips to secure the other ends of the short safety wires to it. Then align the housing to the support frame, raise up, and attach per step 9.
11. Secure the UV Air Panel fixture to the support frame from the top using screws on each side.
12. Make wiring connections as per the Wiring section of the installation instructions.
13. Rotate the 4 earthquake-proof hooks outward to engage with the T-bar support grid.
14. Adjust the length and tightness of the hanger wires by pulling the wire end as per the "Hanger wire instructions."
15. Adjust the hanger wire tightness to fully support the frame and main housing.
