1. Before attaching the lens, make sure to confirm that it is compatible with your projector by referring to the Operating Instructions supplied with your projector.

2. Take note of the throw ratio and hazard distance mentioned in the projector's manual. These values are important for proper installation.

3. If the combination of the projector and lens makes the projector RG3 (Risk Group 3 as per IEC 62471-5), certain precautions need to be taken. Direct exposure to the beam should not be permitted, and access to the beam within the hazard distance should be controlled or the product should be installed at a height that prevents eye exposure within the hazard distance.

4. Attaching the lens incorrectly may cause fire or injury. It is recommended to request a qualified Sony representative to attach the lens for you.
