To connect your Kerlink Sub-LoRa-Gateway to the internet, you have three options - Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and Cellular. Here's how you can set up each option:
1. Ethernet Connection:
- Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the WAN access point of the gateway.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your router or modem.
- The connection should be established automatically.
2. Wi-Fi Connection (only available on iFemtoCell):
- If you have a WPS-compatible Wi-Fi Access Point, press the WPS button on the Kerlink gateway and then press the WPS button on the Wi-Fi Access Point.
- The connection should be established automatically.
- If you don't have a WPS-compatible Wi-Fi Access Point, you have two options:
- Wired Ethernet: Connect the Kerlink device via an Ethernet cable to the same router as your computer (same subnet).
- Over Wi-Fi: Open the Wi-Fi settings on your computer or phone and connect to the Kerlink access point (look for a Wi-Fi network named "klink..."). Use the Wi-Fi password, which is the MAC address printed on the back of the device without the ":" (e.g., MAC ADDR 70:76:FF:02:AB:CD will be entered as "7076FF02ABCD").
- Access the web interface using http://klk-wifc-XXXXXX.local (XXXXXX are the last 6 digits of the Board ID printed on the gateway).
- Login with admin/pwd4admin.
- Go to admin/network, wait for the Wi-Fi list, select your home Wi-Fi network, enter the password, and save the configuration.
- The Kerlink device will now connect to your home Wi-Fi network.
3. Cellular Connection (only available on iFemtoCell Evolution and iStation):
- Insert a SIM card into the Kerlink gateway (if necessary).
- If the cellular configuration doesn't work out of the box, you may need to configure the APN (Access Point Name) of the SIM card on the web interface.
- You can find the MCC/MNC (Mobile Country Code/Mobile Network Code) of your SIM card on http://www.mcc-mnc.com.
- Enter the MCC/MNC on the web interface to configure the cellular connection.
Choose the connectivity option that suits your needs and follow the corresponding setup instructions to connect your Kerlink Sub-LoRa-Gateway to the internet.
