To connect the IMG STAGELINE TRAVELX-1 Small-Diaphragm USB Condenser Microphone to your computer, follow these steps:
1. xxxx the microphone onto the stand using the thread adapter. Make sure the microphone capsule is pointing towards the sound source.
2. If you plan to use headphones, connect them to the headphone jack on the microphone.
3. Boot up your computer.
4. Connect the provided USB cable to the Micro-USB port (Type B) on the microphone and to a USB port on your computer.
5. Once connected, the power LED on the microphone will light up blue, indicating that the microphone is on and recognized by the computer.
6. The computer will automatically install the required drivers (standard drivers of the operating system) for the microphone, recognizing it as an audio input and output device called "USB Audio Device".
7. In the settings of your operating system and/or application software, select the IMG STAGELINE TRAVELX-1 microphone as the audio input device. If you have headphones connected, also select the microphone as the audio output device.
