To install the IL-C5FM Universal IOS Lightning Adapter, please follow these steps:

1. Locate the radio 20-pin plug on the back of the radio and press the black release tab to disconnect it.
2. Connect the 20-pin plug from step 1 to the white matting socket on the installation harness.
3. Connect the installation harness 20-pin black/gray plug to the radio 20-pin socket vacated in step 1.
4. Disconnect the factory antenna plug from the radio socket.
5. Connect the factory antenna plug to the included antenna marked "TO ANTENNA" in Fig. 4.
6. Connect the included antenna plug marked "TO RADIO" to the vacated antenna socket on the radio. Ensure the plug is fully seated.
7. By default, the modulator tuning frequency is set to 87.9MHz. If you wish to switch to 88.3MHz, locate the frequency switch (top left) and use a small screwdriver to move the switch to the desired frequency.
8. Secure the module behind the radio cavity.
9. Connect the lightning cable RCA's to the modulator inputs.
10. Run/route the lightning plug to a desired location on the dashboard, glove box, console, etc. within 4 ft. of the radio. Be careful not to cut, pinch, or crimp the cable during this step.
11. Secure the lightning cable in a location away from heat, humidity, moving parts, or sharp metal objects to prevent damage to the lightning plug.
