To connect and control the AFX LIGHT 16-2046 CLUB-KALEIDO Package using DMX, follow these steps:
1. Connect the DMX output of your controller to the DMX input of the first light in the chain using a 3-pin XLR cable.
2. Connect the DMX output of the first light to the DMX input of the second light, and continue this connection for all the lights in the chain.
3. Make sure to use a DMX terminator on the last unit of the chain. A DMX terminator is a XLR connector with a 120Ω resistor between pin 2 and pin 3.
4. Set the DMX mode on the light to either 12-channel or 17-channel, depending on your preference. This can be done through the control panel by selecting the "DMX" function and then choosing the desired mode.
5. Set the DMX address for each light in the chain. This can also be done through the control panel by selecting the "MODE" function and then choosing the "ADDR" option. Use the Up and Down buttons to select the desired DMX address and press Enter to set it.
6. Once the lights are connected and the DMX addresses are set, you can control them using your DMX controller. Refer to the DMX channel chart in the manual for details on how to control different functions and parameters.
Note: It is important to ensure that the DMX signal cables are properly connected and that the DMX addresses are set correctly for each light in the chain to ensure proper control and synchronization.
