To install the ASUS PCE-AX180 AX1800 Dual-Band Bluetooth 5.2 PCIe WiFi Adapter, follow these steps:
1. Turn off your computer, unplug the power cord, and open the system cover.
2. Insert the PCE-AX1800 wireless adapter onto the PCI Express x1 slot, ensuring that it is seated completely.
3. Download the driver from the ASUS official website.
4. Double click on the "setup" file to install either the WiFi driver or the Bluetooth driver.
- For WiFi Driver installation:
- Click on "install ASUS WLAN Card driver" and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the WiFi installation.
- Once the setup is complete, you can connect your desktop PC to the Internet wirelessly via the PCE-AX1800.
- For Bluetooth Driver installation:
- Connect one end of the bundled USB cable to the USB port on the PCE-AX1800 and the other end to the F_USB connector on the motherboard.
- Click on "install the Bluetooth driver" and follow the onscreen instructions to complete the Bluetooth installation.
5. Open Device Manager to verify if Bluetooth is successfully installed. You should be able to find PCE-AX1800 in the list.
