To connect the DC cables to the GOODWE GW2900D-NS Grid-Tied PV Inverter, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that the component frames and the bracket system are securely grounded.
2. Use the delivered PV connectors to connect the DC cables. It is important to note that using other connectors may cause equipment damage, so it is recommended to use the provided connectors.
3. Make sure the DC cables are connected tightly, securely, and correctly. Poor wiring may result in poor contacts or high impedances, which can damage the inverter.
4. Before connecting the DC cables, use a multimeter to measure the cables and ensure they do not have reverse polarity. Additionally, the voltage should be under the maximum DC input voltage specified in the manual. Connecting the cables with reverse polarity or extremely high voltage can cause damage to the inverter.
5. It is important to use PV modules with an IEC61730 class A rating when using them with the inverter.
