To connect the Michi S5 M8 Stereo Power Amplifier to your audio system, follow these steps:
1. Turn off all components in your system, including loudspeakers, before making any connections.
2. Identify the type of connection you want to use: analog or balanced (XLR).
3. For analog connections, refer to Figure 3-1 or Figure 3-2 in the manual. Connect the analog audio source (such as a CD player or preamplifier) to the corresponding analog input on the amplifier using RCA cables. Connect the speakers to the speaker outputs on the amplifier.
4. For balanced (XLR) connections, refer to Figure 4-1 or Figure 4-2 in the manual. Connect the balanced audio source (such as a professional audio device) to the corresponding XLR input on the amplifier using XLR cables. Connect the speakers to the speaker outputs on the amplifier.
5. If you want to use a 12V trigger to control the amplifier remotely, refer to Figure 5-1 or Figure 5-2 in the manual. Connect the 12V trigger output from your audio system to the 12V trigger input on the amplifier.
6. Once all connections are made, double-check that everything is securely connected.
7. Before turning on the amplifier, ensure that the volume control is turned all the way down.
8. Turn on the amplifier and other components in your system.
