To program the feeding time and volume on the Frisco 345284 Automatic Cat and Dog Feeder, follow these steps:
1. Press the highlighted control buttons shown on the display screen to enter programming mode.
2. Set the feeding volume: The feeder allows for up to 4 meals per day, and the dispensed volume per meal can range from FO1 (5g/0.18 oz) to F20 (100g/3.53 oz). The dispensed volume can be adjusted in 5g/0.18 oz increments.
3. Canceling the feeding time: If you want to review the feeding time and volume, press the "Review" button when the screen displays the clock.
4. Modify the feeding time and volume: If you need to change the feeding time or volume, press the "SET" button when the screen displays the clock, and then follow steps 6-8 to make the modifications.
5. Manual feeding: If you want to manually feed and release food, press and hold the "SET" button for more than 3 seconds when the screen displays the clock. The volume released will depend on the set feeding volume number ranging from F01 to F20, as indicated on the display panel. Each increment represents 5g/0.18 oz.
6. After setting up the programming, pull the feeding tray out until it locks into place.
7. The feeder can store a maximum of 4 meals per day and up to 20 servings (approximately 100g) per meal.
8. Once the setup is completed, the feeder will automatically dispense food at the programmed time.
9. To quickly change the digits during the setup process, use the up and down arrows.
10. In the event of a power outage, the clock will need to be reset, but the feeding time and volume settings will be stored and do not need to be reset.
