To properly inflate the AKONA Havana 10 ft 6 Inch Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboard, follow these step-by-step instructions:
1. Unroll the board on a flat surface, ensuring there are no sharp objects that could puncture the board.
2. Fasten the air hose to the pump and locate the air valve on the tail section of the board deck. Open the valve cover and make sure the inner valve is disengaged in the "UP" position.
3. Connect the air hose to the air valve and begin pumping. Inflate the board to 14-15 PSI (pounds per square inch).
4. Once the desired PSI is reached, disconnect the air hose from the valve. The inner valve will prevent air from escaping when disengaged in the "UP" position.
Note: It is important not to overinflate the board. While the Havana boards can hold up to 15 PSI, the recommended PSI is 14-15 PSI. Inflating the board beyond 15 PSI can cause potential overinflation and damage to the seams, which is not covered by the warranty.
