To install the Anern AN-AT20 PWM Solar Charge Controller, follow these steps:
1. Gather the necessary tools and cables. It is recommended to use cables with a current density of less than 4mm to reduce voltage drop. A 20A controller with 6mm cables is recommended.
2. Ensure that the installation site complies with relevant safety requirements. Avoid installing the controller in damp, dusty, or flammable areas.
3. Install the controller in a fixed vertical plane. Maintain at least 10 cm of space around the inverter for ventilation and heat dissipation.
4. Connect the solar panel to the controller using cables with the correct polarity. The battery indicator light will turn on in a circular manner if the connection is correct.
5. Connect your load to the controller using cables with the correct polarity. Pay attention to the + and - polarity to avoid reversed connection.
6. In case of any accidents, disconnect the solar panel, battery, and load from the controller.
Note: Reversed battery polarity will not damage the controller, but it may pose security risks to your load equipment.
