To connect the VADDIO VAD-0444 EasyIP Ceiling Speaker D to a host device, follow these steps:
1. Ensure that you have the necessary tools for installation, including a hole saw, #2 Phillips screwdriver, wire cutters, tape measure, ladder or lift, and appropriate personal protective equipment.
2. Prepare the ceiling by making a hole in the appropriate location using the tile brace as a template. If you are installing in a suspended tile ceiling, remove the ceiling tile, make a hole in it using the tile brace as a template, and then reinstall the tile.
3. Connect the cable to the speaker by loosening the xxxx holding the connector cover in place and pivoting the cover outward. Loosen the xxxx securing each side of the cable clamp to the speaker body and route the cable through the cable clamp. Connect the cable securely and tighten the clamp adjustment screws and the screws securing the clamp to the speaker body. Move the connector cover back into place and tighten the xxxx .
4. Pair the EasyIP Ceiling Speaker D to a compatible host device, such as an EasyIP Mixer or AV Bridge 2x1. You will need to use the Dante Controller application for routing audio devices with Dante connectivity to the A/V equipment. Download and install the free Dante Controller application from Audinate Pty. Ltd.'s website.
5. Use the Dante Controller application and the host device's web interface to mute and control the volume of the speaker.
