Sure! Here is a step-by-step guide on how to install the APR EM100050 Throttle Booster:
1. Pry open the back of the APR wireless switch and install the three supplied button batteries.
2. Connect the white harness to the white connector and the black harness to the black connector on the throttle booster module.
3. Disconnect the negative battery terminal using a 10MM wrench.
4. Remove the T25 xxxx from the center console cover, located near the throttle pedal.
5. Pull the panel down and away to remove it from the car.
6. Mount the throttle booster module with the supplied cable ties to the center console bracket, in front of the heater core. Ensure there is enough space between the module and the heater core.
7. On the top of the throttle pedal assembly, disconnect the electrical connector to the throttle pedal. Pull the red tab up and away from the connector, then squeeze the red tab to release the connector.
8. Plug the matching connector from the APR throttle control module into the corresponding connector on the factory wiring harness. Then, plug the other connector from the APR module into the top of the throttle pedal.
9. Use the remaining cable ties to secure the two cables out of the way.
10. Reinstall the side panel to the center console and secure it with the original T25 xxxx .
11. Reconnect the negative battery terminal using a 10MM wrench.
Please note that these instructions were written for a North American specification Mk7 VW GTI, but the process may be similar for other models. If you have any further questions or need assistance during the installation, feel free to contact your APR representative.
