To connect the LANCOM 1793VA-4G+ Wireless Router to your internet service provider, follow these steps:
1. Use the supplied DSL cable to connect the VDSL interface of the router to your provider's telephone socket. Make sure to contact your internet service provider for specific instructions on connecting the IP-based line.
2. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable to one of the ETH 1 to ETH 4 interfaces on the router. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your PC or a LAN switch.
3. If you have a SIM card for cellular connectivity, release the SIM-card holder on the bottom of the device and slide the SIM card into the guide slot. Press the holder down until it clicks into place.
4. If you have analog terminal devices, you can connect them directly to the analog interfaces using an RJ11 cable. Alternatively, you can use the enclosed TAE adapters for connection. Additional adapters are available if needed.
5. If you want to configure or monitor the device using a separate device, use a serial configuration cable to connect the serial interface (COM) of the LANCOM 1793VA-4G+ Wireless Router to the serial interface of the device you want to use.
6. The LANCOM 1793VA-4G+ Wireless Router also has ISDN interfaces, USB interface, and power connections. Refer to the user guide for more information on these interfaces.
Please note that before setting up the device, ensure that you have read and understood the information in the installation guide provided with the product.
