To connect the NOVUS SSR 100 Solid State Relay to your electrical circuit, you will need to make two connections: the command signal and the load circuit.
1. The command signal connection: Apply a control voltage within the range of 3-32 VDC to the input of the SSR. This will turn the SSR on and energize the load.
2. The load circuit connection: Connect the load circuit to the output of the SSR. It is important to protect the load circuit by using an ultra-fast fuse with a rating that matches the SSR's nominal current specification. Make sure to firmly xxxx the SSR terminals and use wire gauge compatible with the output load. Recommended cable lengths are 70, 95, and 310 mm for currents of 150, 200, and 300 A, respectively.
Please refer to the electrical connections section in the NOVUS SSR 100 Solid State Relay SSR Instruction Manual for more detailed instructions and diagrams.
Note: It is crucial to ensure that the screws on the SSR terminals are properly tightened to avoid contact problems that may affect the proper operation of the entire installation power system.
