To set the thermostat on the Honeywell HHF360 360 Surround Heat Heater, follow these steps:
1. Turn the heater on by plugging it into a polarized 120V outlet.
2. Turn the Power xxxx to the desired heat setting (Low or High). The red Power Light will come on.
3. Turn the Thermostat Control fully clockwise to the highest setting.
4. Wait for the room to reach a comfortable temperature.
5. Slowly turn the Thermostat Control counter-clockwise until the heating element goes off. The red Power Light will not be shut off.
6. This is the point at which the Thermostat setting equals the room temperature. The Thermostat will automatically turn the heater on and off to maintain the selected temperature.
Note: The Low setting is more energy efficient and may be a better option if you are concerned about saving energy.
