Cleaning the DeVilbiss 525 Series 5-Liter Oxygen Concentrator is an important part of its maintenance. Here are the recommended cleaning steps:
1. Outer Cabinet: Clean the concentrator exterior cabinet weekly by using a damp cloth and wiping dry. Do not use harsh chemicals or petroleum-based solvents.
2. Filter Door Vents: Inspect the vents periodically and wipe with a dry cloth as needed to remove dust.
3. Oxygen Outlet Connector: Clean the oxygen outlet connector every 7 days by using mild dish soap (2 tbsp) and warm water (2 cups). Rinse thoroughly and dry before reattaching.
