The Elite Screens Evanesce Tab-Tension B Series screen can be controlled using six different methods. Here are the instructions for each method:
1. IR remote control: The screen comes with an infrared (IR) remote control. Aim the remote at the "eye" receiver on the control box and use it to control the screen's functions. The range of the IR remote is approximately 30 feet.
2. IR "Eye" Receiver: If you have a recessed ceiling installation, you can use the IR "Eye" Receiver. Plug it into the control box's RJ45 port and it will provide a low-profile line-of-sight control option for your IR remote control.
3. RF Remote Control: The screen also comes with a radio frequency (RF) remote control. Unlike the IR remote, the RF remote does not require direct line of sight and has a range of approximately 100 feet.
4. 3-Way Wall Switch: The 3-way wall switch is a wall mount switch with up/stop/down buttons. It plugs directly into the control box's RJ45 port and allows you to control the screen from a wall-mounted location.
5. 5-12 volt trigger: The screen has a built-in 5-12V trigger input that allows it to synchronize its drop and rise with the projector's power cycle. Connect the screen to your projector's trigger output using a separate cable (not provided) and the screen will deploy when the projector powers up and retract when the projector powers down.
6. Wireless 5-12 volt trigger: The RF remote control can also be used as a wireless 5-12 volt trigger. Connect one end of the 3.5 mm wireless 5-12 volt trigger cable to the RF remote and the other end to your projector. Unplug the screen from the power outlet, hold the UP button on the RF remote, plug the screen back in, wait 5 seconds, and release the UP button. The wireless trigger should now be activated and synchronized with your projector's power cycle.
Please refer to the user guide for more detailed instructions on setting up and using each control method.
