To calibrate the Apera EC400S Portable Conductivity Meter, follow these steps:
1. Rinse the conductivity electrode in distilled or pure water and allow it to dry.
2. Connect the electrode to the meter and make sure it is securely attached.
3. Press the power button to turn on the meter.
4. Press the calibration button to enter the calibration mode. The CAL icon will start flashing on the LCD screen.
5. Immerse the electrode in a calibration solution of known conductivity. Stir the solution gently and wait for the reading to stabilize.
6. Once the reading is stable, press the calibration button to calibrate the meter. The END icon will appear on the screen, indicating that the calibration is complete.
7. Repeat the calibration process with additional calibration solutions if necessary.
8. After calibration, rinse the electrode with distilled or pure water and dry it before using it for measurements.
Note: The Apera EC400S Portable Conductivity Meter can perform 1 to 4 points of calibration. The calibration solutions needed for each point can be found in the manual. It is recommended to calibrate the meter regularly to ensure accurate measurements.
