1. Ensure that the router's battery is charged or being charged, and turn on the router using the power button.
2. Connect to the router either via LAN or the 2.4GHz or 5GHz WiFi networks. The WiFi network names and passwords can be found on the bottom of the device.
3. Open a web browser and enter "http://192.168.8.1" in the address bar to access the router's configuration page.
4. The default password is "admin". Enter this password to log in.
5. Once logged in, you will see different tabs for Network, WiFi, and System settings.
6. In the Network tab, you can set the IP address, enable or disable the DHCP server, and switch the Ethernet port mode to LAN or WAN.
7. In the WiFi tab, you can configure the WiFi settings. Set the country/region to ensure appropriate WiFi channels can be selected. You can change settings for both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks, including enabling/disabling, SSID, password, channel, and SSID broadcast. You can also join an existing WiFi network as a client by pressing the Configure button.
8. In the System tab, you can upgrade or reset the firmware, set the login password, and save or restore router settings. Battery status information is also displayed here.
9. Once you have configured the settings according to your preferences, click on the appropriate buttons to save the changes.
