To connect the GYSARC Series Three-phase MMA Generator to a power supply, follow these steps:
1. Check that the power supply voltage is 400V +/- 15% and the frequency is 50/60Hz.
2. Ensure that the power supply is fitted with four wires and one earthed neutral.
3. For the GYSARC 300, connect the machine to a 16A socket type EN 60309-1. For the GYSARC 400, connect it to a 32A socket type EN 60309-1.
4. Make sure the power supply and its protection (fuse and/or circuit breaker) are compatible with the current needed by the machine.
5. While under intensive use (exceeding the duty cycle), the thermal protection may activate. In this case, the arc switches off and the thermal protection indicator switches on. Leave the machine plugged into the mains after welding to allow it to cool.
Please refer to the user manual for more detailed instructions and safety precautions when connecting the machine to a power supply.
