To install the LANCER CED-400 R-290 Cold Carbonated Dispenser, follow these steps:
1. Cut the package banding straps and remove the unit from the box.
2. Remove the parts tray and loose parts from the box.
3. Remove the plywood shipping base from the unit.
4. If provided, assemble the leg kit by tilting the unit.
5. Select a location for the dispenser that is close to a properly grounded electrical outlet, within five feet of a drain, and has a water supply that meets the specifications mentioned in the manual.
6. Ensure there is at least eight inches of clearance over the top of the unit for proper airflow.
7. Cut necessary holes in the countertop for mounting the dispenser.
8. Level the dispenser by placing a level on the top of the rear edge and adjusting as necessary.
9. Install the dispenser permanently to the counter or place it on the counter using the legs provided.
10. Seal the dispenser base to the countertop with silicone caulk or sealant.
11. Remove the cup rest, splash plate, merchandiser, and bonnet from the dispenser.
12. Route the power cord, drain tube, and appropriate tubing for water and syrup connections.
13. Connect the water supply to the carbonator pump inlet and the plain water inlet using appropriate tubing and fittings.
14. Connect the CO2 supply to the CO2 inlet using tubing and fittings.
15. Route all tubing, power cord, and drain line through the back of the unit.
16. Turn on the water supply and check for leaks.
17. Plug in the unit to a grounded electrical outlet to power on.
18. Adjust the CO2 pressure and activate each valve until a steady flow of carbonated water is achieved.
19. Adjust the water flow rate and syrup/water ratio using a Lancer brix cup.
20. Reinstall the merchandiser, splash plate, cup rest, and drip tray.
21. Adjust the volumetric valve settings using a handheld programmer if necessary.
