To switch between the different modes on the RICOH Rh 100 Heater, follow these steps:
1. Press the [Temperature] key and [Time] key simultaneously for at least 2 seconds.
2. The operating mode will change as follows:
- Standard mode: The factory-default setting. The front cover locks when the inside of the finisher exceeds 70 °C (158 °F).
- Professional mode: Switch from standard mode. The front cover does not lock even when the temperature exceeds 70 °C (158 °F), except during press processing and fixing processing.
- Professional 2 mode: Switch from professional mode. The front cover does not lock even when the temperature exceeds 70 °C (158 °F), except during press processing and fixing processing. The surface of the heater and the fabric are in contact with each other during the fixing process, requiring regular cleaning.
Please refer to the Operating Instructions for cleaning frequency and precautions when using the Professional 2 mode.
Note: When set to standard mode, you need to press the [Stop/ Unlock] key for at least 1 second to unlock the front cover. In professional mode, it is not necessary to hold down the [Stop/Unlock] key.
